Tenure track procedures are supported by a mentorship and annual discussions of the status of the process. Furthermore, the University facilitates customized advising and support for tenure track professors to help them meet the objectives of their personal development plans in those areas that are relevant to their evaluations. In order to continually improve the compatibility of professional and familial life on the way to a professorship, the University of Potsdam offers a wide variety of need-based measures for tenure track professors.
