Our laboratories in the department of physics didactics

Our physics laboratories are to be found in building 28 on campus Golm. The school lab is provided with three laboratories for experimenting, and a seminar room. Rooms and materials are also used for teacher training, so there is a big repertoire of experimental equipment available.

To make the most of your visit, it is recommended to prepare your pupils for the contents and the course of action in the school lab. Thus they can fully concentrate on experimenting while you are here. Pictures of our laboratories may give you a first glimpse of the venue.

In the laboratories smoking, eating, and drinking are not permitted. You are free to eat and drink in the seminar room.

The project is supervised by Dr. Uta Magdans and her team. Among other things Dr. Magdans trains future physics teachers in experimenting. Her team consists of student and research assistants.
