Language Acquisition
Research Focus
The language acquisition group has a focus on the early acquisition of phonological and syntactic knowledge in monolingual and bilingual typically developing children and children at risk for language impairment. Further topics are interactions between cognitive and linguistic development as well as the relation between the development of speech perception and speech production. The babylab is equipped with the most recent experimental techniques to study early language acquisition.
