Summer Schools
In annual Summer Schools professionals from all over the world come together to learn and discuss about up-to-date nutrition related topics. This interdisciplinary exchange facilitates international scientific cooperation and results in locally adapted solutions for specific problems.

- Thailand 2016: Nutrition in Elderly
The topic of the Summer School was nutrition in the ageing population, with the specific problems for this age group and possible solutions and strategies to manage them.
- Germany 2015: Future Food
The focus of this Summer School were the changing food demands of the future and the possibilities to cope with the emerging problems.
- Vietnam 2015: Child and Adolescent Nutrition
This Summer School focused on the specific nutriotional needs of children and adolescents.
- Laos 2014: Mother and Child Nutrition
During this Summer School the specific nutritional needs of pregnant and lactating women and children in the first 1000 days of life were discussed.
- Namibia 2014: Nutrition and Pharmaceutical Scienes
The focus of this Summer School were new Analytical Approaches to the Nutrition Transition.
- Thailand 2013: Nutrition and Emerging NCD's
In this Summer School the problem of Emerging Non-Communicable Diseases and their relation to Nutrition was discussed.
- Germany 2012: Double Burden of Malnutrition
This Summer School focused on the emerging problem of the Double Burden of Malnutrition, a persistence of undernutrition along with a rapid rise in overnutrition.
