Workshop: Iron
October 26th - 31st, 2015 in Thai Nguyen City, Vietnam
During this week a workshop with participants from Thailand, Lao PDR and Vietnam was conducted. A mixture of theoretical background, interactive group work, lab analysis and e-Learning will provide the participants with a lot of new knowledge about the following specific topics:
- Iron metabolism
- Iron deficiency
- Assessment of the iron status using the red blood cell parameters
- Current status of iron deficiency
