Research Interests
I am interested in
a.) experimental approaches that help in understanding elementary perceptual and cognitive processes in humans, and
b.) in themathematical modeling of these processes. Whenever possible, I seek to combine both of these aims within any given research project. To this end, I have used more traditional psychophysical and reaction time (RT) methods, and also event-related potentials (ERP) and eye movements (EM).
More specifically, I describe below some topics which have interested me over the years; these descriptions are intended to reflect not only my past but usually also my current interests - which is why I list them here.
