Lab equipment

Depending on your degree course, you will have to complete a certain number of laboratory courses. Therfore certain personal protective or laboratory equipment is required. You will have to purchase this yourself. The university itself does not rent out equipment or anything similar. Depending on your degree program, you will have to purchase different amounts of laboratory equipment.

This year, we offer you as FSR that you can order your equipment via our store at the manufacturer studibedarf and pick it up after arrival in our FSR room. A separate page has been set up at studibedarf for this purpose, which you can access via the following link:

For the winter semester 2025/26 you can place your orders with us until *tba* and pay in advance. We will then finalize a collective order.

IMPORTANT: Specify "Pick up at FSR BCE" as the delivery method

We will inform you about the issue of your equipment as soon as the order has arrived. You will then find information here or via our social media channels. In the past, the equipment was usually handed out within the first week of lectures at the FSR room. 

If you have failed to place your order with us until the *tba* you will have the opportunity to order equipment from us in the first week of lectures. However, we cannot guarantee that you will have it in your hands in time until the start of your lab course. Alternatively, you can and need to order your equipment online by yourself (not via our store) or visit a workwear store.
