Courses

We offer a range of courses in the area of software engineering, both at basic and advanced levels. These courses cover various topics related to (research) software engineering. In the past, we offered courses in the following areas:

  • (General) Software Engineering (SE I+II, lectures with exercises and projects, SE I usually every Winter Term, SE II every Summer Term)
  • Research Software Engineering (lecture with exercises and projects, usually in every Summer Term)
  • Software Quality (lecture with projects)
  • Formal Methods in Software Engineering (lecture with exercises)
  • Bachelor-level seminars (on varying topics, in the past for example AI in Software Engineering, Software Heritage)
  • Research Seminar (for students (considering) doing an internship, interdisciplinary project, Bachelor, Master or PhD thesis in the field of software engineering, offered every semester)
