Astroparticle Physics at Potsdam University
Astroparticle physics is a young research area at the intersection of astrophysics, particle physics, and cosmology. It studies the most violent and extreme environments of our Universe with investigations on the smallest scale, by using elementary particles. Potsdam University has a broad research spectrum in astroparticle physics, from experimental involvement to fundamental theoretical research.
All our professors are simultaneously leading scientists at DESY Zeuthen, one of the largest research centres of astroparticle physics in Germany. We work in close cooperation with the research groups at DESY.
