The On-line Application of Binding Constraints on Anaphor Resolution
University of Essex
Supported by the University of Essex(2007)
Our project investigated the online application of syntactic constraints on the interpretation of reflexive pronouns using the ‘visual world’ variant of the eye-movement monitoring technique. Participants were asked to listen to brief stories while viewing a visual display on a projection screen showing the entities referred to in the story, and their eye movements during listening were recorded.
