About me

My current research interests revolve around speech perception, production and speech motor control. I try to learn more about it by researching how coarticulation works in adults and how it develops in children. This research gives me the fascinating opportunity to work with different types of data, acoustic, articulatory, behavioral, and to explore different methods of analysing these data. To make it all even better, I get to work with children – every time a kid enters the lab, you know it is going to be an adventure!

Aside from research, I love reading, watching and sometimes creating science fiction which, by the way, first exposed me to linguistics and made me realize its beauty and importance.
