Dr. Christian Schmidt-Wellenburg

Christian Schmidt-Wellenburg studied sociology, economics and political science at Philipps-Universität-Marburg, University of Manchester and Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. He worked as researcher and lecturer at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin (2004-2005) and Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg (2005-2009). He was awarded a PhD by Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg for his thesis "Governing the firm. Management Consulting in neoliberal capitalism" (2013, research funded by DFG research group "Markets and Social Space in Europe"). 2009 - 2024 he has been working as Assistant Professor at Potsdam University.
