Physical Chemistry

Welcome to the Physical Chemistry at University of Potsdam (UPPC). We are located on Campus Golm in buildings 25 and 29 with our research groups:

• Ultrafast Structural Dynamics (JProf. Dr. Henrike Müller-Werkmeister)
• Hybrid Nanostructures (Prof. Dr. Ilko Bald)
• Optical Sensing and Spectroscopy (apl. Prof. Dr. Michael U. Kumke)
• Spectroscopy & Biocatalysis (Dr. Sven T. Stripp)

Together with the Astrophysical Institute Potsdam (AIP) UPPC founded the Innovation Centre innoFSPEC Potsdam.

Until his retirement in March 2021, Prof. Dr. Hans-Gerd Löhmannsröben was Chair for Physical Chemistry and headed UPPC.
