Physical Chemistry

Welcome to the Physical Chemistry at University of Potsdam (UPPC). We are located on Campus Golm in building 29 with our research groups:

• Ultrafast Structural Dynamics (JProf. Dr. Henrike Müller-Werkmeister)
• Hybrid Nanostructures (Prof. Dr. Ilko Bald)
• Optical Sensing and Spectroscopy (apl. Prof. Dr. Michael U. Kumke)

Together with the Astrophysical Institute Potsdam (AIP) UPPC founded the Innovation Centre innoFSPEC Potsdam.

Until his retirement in March 2021, Prof. Dr. Hans-Gerd Löhmannsröben was Chair for Physical Chemistry and headed UPPC.
