September 9th, 2024: Call for voting by the Working Group against Right-Wing Extremism
Dear members of the University of Potsdam,
In view of the upcoming state elections in Brandenburg on 22 September, we would like to remind you of the importance of your vote in strengthening the democratic foundations of our society and actively shaping the future.
A sound education policy is essential for maintaining academic standards and the climate of innovation at our university. The upcoming elections will therefore have a significant impact on the direction in which the education sector will develop, and thus on the daily life and learning at the University of Potsdam.
We encourage you to inform yourself about the aims and programmes of the parties competing for your vote, and to support parties that promote tolerance, diversity, and science-based solutions to global challenges.
Please take part in the elections and use your right to vote responsibly to strengthen our democratic structures.
