Prof. Dr. Tino Schuppan
Tino Schuppan is Professor for Public Management at the University of Labour Studies and the scientific director of the Stein Hardenberg Insititute (SHI) in Berlin and Potsdam, Germany. He has research and consulting experience in the fields of digital government, public management reforms and development cooperation. Prof. Schuppan’s research interests include transformation in the context of digitalization, changing work organisation ("public management from below"), cutting red tape, skills and competencies for digitalization in government and ICT for development. Prof. Schuppan’s articles on public management and digitalisation have been published in leading international scientific journals and have been included in several books. He is a member of various international conference committees and is co-chairing several international leading scientific conference. As a member of the Stein-Hardenberg-Institute has carried out more than 50 national and international projects in the public sector, including projects in Africa, Latin America, Europe and Russia. He teaches in master courses at the University of Potsdam (Germany), the University of Salzburg (Austria) and the University of Bern (Switzerland).
