Citizen Science

Citizen science and public engagement promote the active participation of citizens in the research process and are elements of open science. Researchers open up suitable topics for discussion and editing with a broad public. The common goal of all citizen science projects is the creation of new knowledge. This involves working on research questions, the answers to which provide new insights for science and often also for practice and politics.

The Press and Public Relations Department and Potsdam Transfer offer support in the organization and communication of such activities.
