Instructions for Presenters

If you are presenting a contribution at the conference, please note the following information.


Symposia
Symposia are scheduled for 90 mins (e.g., 5 papers OR 4 papers and 1 discussant). Paper presentations will last for 15 minutes. The remaining time can be used for the discussant or a general discussion.


Individual Paper Presentations
Paper sessions are also scheduled for 90 minutes and consist of 4 or 5 papers. For sessions with 5 contributions, each presentation should consist of 15 minutes of speaking time and then 3 minutes may be used for questions. For sessions with only 4 contributions, time for questions may be extended or the remaining time may be used for a general discussion. The chair is responsible for ensuring that this time schedule is adhered to.


Poster Presentations
Posters should be provided as printed posters (no electronic posters). Poster size is A0 (height: 120 cm, width 90 cm). The poster format is portrait/vertical position. Poster presenters will have the opportunity to introduce their poster during the times allocated to the Poster Session. Posters may be set up 30 minutes before the start of the session. Your poster has been assigned a number in the program. The poster board number assigned to the poster must be placed in the upper left-hand corner of the display. A poster board number cut-out will be provided beforehand and must be visible at all times.
