Joining CRC FONDA with two projects

We are excited to announce that we are joining FONDA (Foundations of Workflows for Large-Scale Scientific Data Analysis, https://fonda.hu-berlin.de/), a DFG-funded Collaborative Research Centre coordinated by Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, with two projects. FONDA investigates methods for increasing productivity in the development, execution, and maintenance of Data Analysis Workflows (DAWs) for large scientific data sets. In a project with Tilmann Hickel (BAM) and Lars Grunske (HU Berlin), we will work on “Semantic Composition and Validation of Interacting DAWs in Computational Materials Science”. Our second project, together with Jan Mendling and Matthias Weidlich (both HU Berlin), we will investigate “Early Workflow Design: From Collaborative Scientific Problem-Solving to DAW Specifications”.
