Career Service: Informationsveranstaltung "Volunteering in Germany"

Do you want to help other people and do something great? Are you looking for new people to extend your social network outside of university? Would you like to lend a hand somewhere and get to know yourself a little better?

Volunteering offers a variety of opportities beyond studies and internships. It allows you to try out professional skills, to network with other people, to learn new languages and gain practical experience.

Our volunteering event on December 10th will show you the diversity in volunteering, and the impact it has for both deeds and individuals. You will meet individuals and organizations who talk about volunteering in Germany. Our guests will tell you what projects they run and how to get involved as a volunteer alongside your studies - also with no or few German skills.

We will host speakers from these organizations:

- GoVolunteer - a volunteering platform and online community
- ReDI School of Digital Integration - a non-profit tech school providing access to free digital education
- Give Something Back To Berlin - an association to give and take e.g. language courses, music courses, open kitchen
