Potsdam Slavic Variation Lab

    is part of the Chair of Slavic Linguistics and focuses on researching variation across different Slavic languages and dialects. Current projects include the digitalization of the Atlas of Ukrainian Dialects and the development of a corpus of Russian Old Believers' speech.

PoSla Typology Lab

  • The PoSla Typology Lab

    is part of the Chair of Slavic Linguistics and focuses on cross-linguistic research. Its main areas of interest include efficiency effects in linguistic structures, valency systems, and differential object marking, among others. Lab members work with typological data, as well as data from Indo-European, Uralic, and Semitic languages.
