David Gough is Professor of Evidence Informed Policy and Practice and the Director of the Social Science Research Unit and the Evidence for Policy and Practice Information and Co-ordinating (EPPI) Centre at University College London, UK. Before joining UCL in 1998, Prof Gough worked at the University of Glasgow and Japan Women's University. While his current research focuses on methods for research synthesis and research use, he has also written on child protection and child abuse.
