Alexander Gaus, doctoral fellow in the Research Training Group WIPCAD, participated in the 8th Trier Summer School on Social Network Analysis last fall. The summer school is an intensive one-week introduction to the state of the art of social network analysis, offered by the University of Trier. The summer school, which took place from the 29 of September to 4 of October 2014, included sessions on theories, methods and applications of social network analysis under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Michael Schönhuth and his team. The new insights gained at the summer school can be readily applied in Alexander Gaus' dissertation project at WIPCAD, which is about the internal dynamics of an international network of anti-trust agencies.
