In November 2012, the international opening conference of the newly established Research Training Group on “Wicked Problems, Contested Administrations: Knowledge, Coordination, Strategy” (WIPCAD) will take place in Potsdam, Germany. Outstanding international scholars in the field of public administration will contribute.
Members of the academic community and practitioners of public administration are invited to follow the one-day-program at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Potsdam in Potsdam Griebnitzsee (9:30-18:00 / building 6, hall 001).
Funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) from 2012 to 2017, WIPCAD will start its program in October with eight excellent young researchers in the field of public administration. The focus will be on innovative and ambitious research with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinarity. Therefore, the Research Training Group will include contributions from political science, sociology, public management and economics.
