Publications

With the possible exception of my 1991 Minimale Syntax, the publications I am most proud of are co-authored. It is amazing how much papers improve when they are written in the constant intensive interaction with colleagues. I particularly like Weskott & Fanselow (2011), which won the Language Best Paper Award and made it into the all-time anthology of  best papers in Language.

I am proud that so many of the best linguists (and cognitive science colleagues) around were willing to co-author papers with me. Thanks, hence, to Rama Kant Agnihotri, Artemis Alexiadou, Rusudan Asatiani, Philippe Besnard, Petra Burkhardt, Damir Ćavar, Charles Clifton, Edeltraud Dobnig-Jülch, Sascha W. Felix†, Caroline Féry, Lyn Frazier, Stefan Frisch, Meg Grant, Jana Häussler, Robin Hörnig, Ralf Jodlbauer†, Martina Junker†, Reinhold Kliegl, Josef Krems, Manfred Krifka, Anoop Mahajan, Ulrich Mayr, Denisa Lenertovà, Alla Paslawska, Torsten Schaub, Matthias Schlesewsky, Stavros Skopeteas, Peter Staudacher, Yranahan Traoré, Shravan Vasishth, Lisa Verhoeven, Ralf Vogel, Thomas Weskott, Marta Wierzba, Wolfgang Wildgen.
