Book Club - 16 October
Hey I’m Alex and part of the English FSR/student council. :)
As exams came to an end, you may have more time for new hobbies. That is why I'm excited to announce the launch of our new book club!
We'll be coming once per month to dive into captivating stories, explore different genres, and have discussions. Let's see, maybe we can even invite professors for some insights.
I encourage you to bring your favourite book to our first meeting and share your suggestions for our future reading choices, as this is our book club and we want to make sure that we find a diverse range of titles to suit everyone's interests.
The first meeting took place at 10 September, but you can still join :)

Updates on the Book Club - first book we will read
Hello everyone :)
For our first book we chose “The Turn of the Screw“ by Henry James.
Our next meeting will be on Wedsneday, 16 October, room Campus Neues Palais tba.
We will be joined by Dr. Aileen Behrendt from the Professorship for English Literature.

FSR-Quiz - Tuesday, 22 October
When: Tuesday, 22nd October at 18:30
Where: At Nil Student*innenkeller
Our quiz night is organized in collaboration with the student council Romanistik. There will be questions on general knowledge, as well as music, pop culture, and so on. If you want to participate, please order tickets on Eventbrite! You can register alone, or you can also register up to six people for your team.
Please keep in mind that there will be a small entry fee of 1€ per person, which will be collected upon entrance :)
The whole quiz will be in German.

Halloween Movie Night - Monday, 28 October
Welcome to our Halloween Movie Night featuring "The Addams Family"! Get ready for a spooktacular evening filled with chills and laughter as we bring this classic film to the big screen.
You can enter our screening for a horrifyingly tiny admission fee of 3€. We will provide you with snacks and non-alcoholic drinks.
Feel free to come in your favorite Halloween costume as we watch the Addams family's story unfold. The perfect way to get into the Halloween spirit!
