The University of Potsdam has won national and international recognition in particular for its research achievements in the cognitive sciences, the geosciences, and life sciences. Here, as in many other scientific fields, the University has scientists who are designated to respond to professional questions.  

Our experts deliver background knowledge, dates, facts, and explanations in response to scientific questions. The spectrum of topics ranges in the humanities and the social sciences range from political science and history to economic and social themes, as well as questions regarding local government and jurisprudence. Researchers in the human sciences are also available for media queries in such fields as education and upbringing, the psychological development of adolescents, or the topics of nutrition, sports, and health. The Institutes of the Faculty of Science offer comprehensive expert knowledge on the environment, nature, and technology. Our experts will contact you and arrange interviews. 

The University is distinguished by its close cooperation with renowned extramural research institutions inside and outside of the region. Numerous joint appointments provide evidence of this cooperation. These professors are also available for requests for information.
