On friday, 23 November 2012, the international opening conference of the newly established DFG-Research Training Group on “Wicked Problems, Contested Administrations: Knowledge, Coordination, Strategy” (WIPCAD) will take place in Potsdam, Germany. On invitation of Klaus H. Goetz, the WIPCAD spokesperson, many outstanding international scholars in the field of public administration will contribute. They will discuss and present their current work on "wicked problems"- such as Helen Margetts/Oxford, Paul t'Hart/Uetrecht, Anne Lise Fimreite/Bergen, Martin Lodge/London and Theo Toonen/Leiden.
Members of the academic community and practitioners of public administration are invited to follow the one-day-program at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Potsdam in Potsdam Griebnitzsee (9:30-18:00 / building 6, hall 001).
