Team 'Operation Applications'

The Operation Applications team manages the main UP services - the central web server, Mail.UP, Moodle.UP and others. In addition to ensuring stable operation, the team's tasks also include the further development of services and the implementation of new services.
Team 'Information Systems for Administration and Organisation'
(German: Team Informationssysteme für Verwaltung und Organisation)
The 'Information Systems for Administration and Organisation' team is responsible for numerous services of the Central University Administration - including the staff and financial administration system, the BI system, Reisen.UP and many more. In addition to ensuring stable operation, the team focuses on the highest level of data security. The team's tasks also include the constant further development of services and the introduction of new services.
Team 'Support & Service Design'

The Support & Service Design team is the central point of contact for all questions regarding the services offered by ZIM. You can visit the service offices in person or contact our team either directly by phone, e-mail or via a web form. Our team will advise you and process your enquiry.
Team 'Organisation and Projects'
(German: Team Organisation und Projekte)
The 'Organisation and Projects' team supports the ZIM management in the performance of its tasks, takes care of the organisation of ZIM-internal work processes and is responsible for the management of budget funds. Furthermore, all projects in which ZIM is involved are coordinated here.
Team 'Infrastructure Server and Storage'
(German: Team Infrastruktur Server and Storage)
The Infrastructure - Server and Storage Team is responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure concepts. The infrastructure services offered can be used by university institutions to operate their services on the ZIM infrastructure or to use them within the scope of services offered by ZIM.
Team 'Infrastructure Network'
(German: Team Infrastruktur Netz)
The Infrastructure Network Team operates the entire campus network in the locations. This includes the LAN connections in the individual rooms, the WLAN network, the VoIP phone system, the VPN servers and the necessary services. The team is also responsible for the firewall and the student network in Potsdam.
Team 'Multimedia Production'
(German: Team Multimediaproduktion)
The 'Multimedia Production' Team is the media service provider at the University of Potsdam and is there to assist you with audio, video and print productions of all kinds. Therefore, the fields of graphics, large-format printing and in-house printing as well as photography, film production, event recording and the video and audio studio are available to you.
