The acquisition of basic academic skills at the beginning of the degree programme is an essential prerequisite for its successful completion. The training and development of interdisciplinary skills takes place primarily in teaching and learning opportunities offered or supported by the Centre for Languages and Key Competencies (ZESSKO). To this end, ZESSKO offers courses to qualify first-year students in the German language and to master the basic linguistic and methodological requirements of the degree programme. The offers are closely linked to corresponding courses and thus also serve to train study-relevant techniques.
