About Iris Löhrmann

Iris is working as a free-lance trainer and coach. Formerly she has been the scientific director of ZEWK, Center of Scientific Further Education and Cooperation, Technische Universität (TU) Berlin She studied political sciences and worked at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin for six years before joining TU Berlin in 1995. Iris has initiated 30 national and international projects, being in charge of proposal conception and writing plus managing her projects. Besides her project and seminar work she was an honorary reviewer for internal research funding of TU Berlin.

About Cornelia Borek

Cornelia Borek has been a scientific employee of the German Aerospace Center within the Project Management Agency (DLR Projektträger) since 2008. She has a legal background and spent several years working as National Contact Point for Legal and Financial Aspects of the European Framework Programmes. In her 10 years at Technische Universität Berlin as EC Liaison Officer, she was in charge of advising TU scientists on European and International funding possibilities. Her work included legal and basic financial matters. Iris and Cornelia have conducted seminars on designing and writing professional project proposals in German and English since 1997. They have jointly published several papers on proposal writing. Due to their different background they complement each other very well bringing along different experience and skills.
