If you would like to invite an international guest scholar for research purposes to the University of Potsdam or one of the participating non-university research institutes, we are happy to advise and support you. Please contact us as early as possible when you would like to invite a guest from another country to Potsdam.
We provide consultation on:
- invitation arrangements;
- employment and enrolment;
- accommodations for guests;
- insurance issues;
- issues regarding immigration and visa;
- assistance with opportunities for the families of guest scholars (e.g. registration of children in kindergarten or school);
- information regarding continuing education opportunities; and
- assistance with contacts for your guests.
